Let Nature Be Your Guest of Honor

Nature holds a unique power to inspire and soothe, which is why our outdoor Pavilion surrounded by rolling hills, woodlands, and the Etowah river make a great choice for couples who want a low-key wedding experience that not only harmonizes with the outdoors, but leaves a positive mark too. With this in mind, let's explore some ideas to plan an unforgettable celebration that not only embraces the beauty of nature but pays homage to it.

Let Nature Take Center Stage

Think about using things like driftwood, fallen branches, or potted plants to create one-of-a-kind decorations. Not only does this help cut down on waste, but it also brings a genuine, natural charm to your celebration. And to add in those finishing details, we've partnered with a skilled regional artisan to craft a stunning driftwood arbor for your ceremony, along with modern rustic-finish cocktail tables meant to blend seamlessly into the surroundings. It's all about adding that special touch, you know?

Seasonal and Local Flowers

Go for flowers that are sourced locally and in season for your bouquets, centerpieces, and decor. It helps out local farmers and cuts down on the environmental impact of shipping flowers. We recommend Bantam and Bloom, a flower farm and design studio located on a 9 acre organic flower and vegetable farm in Alpharetta, Georgia. They're known for creating stunning floral installations on our big oak tree. They're a top choice for a reason!

Local Fare

When it comes to provisionals, select a caterer who's all about using local, seasonal ingredients to back up our farmers. Want something different? Think about bringing in a local food truck like Low-Co Motion, Jamwich, or Swift and Finch to jazz up the party. If you're leaning towards a traditional feel, we suggest The Season Events or Talk of The Town. They're big on getting the best, from organic produce to fancy bread, cheese, and charcuterie. They won't disappoint!

Ditch the Disposables

Going for reusable or biodegradable options for your celebration might seem small, but it's actually a pretty big deal! Renting out some classy tableware and linens not only gives your reception a sophisticated touch, but it's also a thumbs-up for being eco-friendly. If you're working with a tight budget and need disposables, go for biodegradable plates, cutlery, and decor. They'll break down naturally without causing harm to nature. It's a win-win!

Leave-No-Trace

We're all about leaving this place just as beautiful after the party. If you're thinking of saying thanks with some wedding favors, why not go for potted plants, seed packets, or something thoughtfully handcrafted from sustainable materials? And when it's time to make your grand exit, picture this: running through dried flowers or strolling under those soft rice paper lanterns. It's all about showing what really matters to you.
